Quick cleanup today. We had lots of hard-working pigs show up, and most of the trash was already bagged and stacked.
We met the current resident on the hill, and his doggo. They were both nice.
With all the abandoned [some torched] vehicles, camper trailers, and DIY plywood structures, it’s going to take more than a Pig run to get this spot back to the majestic scene it once was.
The person living up there said he’s going to work on getting more stuff hauled out, as soon as he gets his truck running. He’s only the latest occupant up there, and he inherited most of the mess.
We’ll be back to this spot. Hopefully someday Lyon County will be capable of moving some of the dumped vehicles and trailers. Currently, that is beyond our budget and legal boundaries.
